The Association.
Founded in the early 1980s, the Historic Wooster Square Association (HWSA) is a voluntary organization dedicated to preserving, enhancing, and celebrating the Wooster Square neighborhood. Our members are homeowners, renters, students, businesses and others who have a vested interest in ensuring that our community continues to be a beautiful and peaceful neighborhood in which to live and work.
What we do.

Oversee neighborhood beautification projects and advocate for preservation activities.

Keep residents informed on important local issues.

Represent neighborhood interests with city departments and agencies.

Support and connect with local city and neighborhood organizations.

Support neighborhood events, such as the annual Cherry Blossom Festival, pumpkin carving and tree lighting.
